“Positively Milwaukee with Carole Meekins” is a new show from TMJ4 News dedicated to sharing all the positive and uplifting stories that Milwaukee has to offer. The TMJ4 Positively Milwaukee Awards were created to honor unsung heroes around the community. For over 30 years, TMJ4 has put a spotlight on the people that make Milwaukee a great place to live, with our “Positively Milwaukee” segments in newscasts and online.

HUMANE ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY

Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) is an open-admission, no-kill shelter dedicated to strengthening the relationship between animals and humans through adoptions and education – making a more compassionate community possible HAWS leads the community in animal welfare and assures sanctuary for animals in need, and envisions a community where all animals are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.

Wisconsin Hero Outdoors (WHO) mission is to offer a variety of integrated therapies to Veterans, First Responders and their families. Utilizing the camaraderie of outdoor activities to address both the physical and mental health challenges brought on by the stresses of service, and ultimately aid in the prevention of suicide.
